I’ve been working in pest control since 2008, but my background in country life goes back much further. I previously lived on a farm where we grew our own produce and raised livestock. I’ve always loved nature and animals, and pest control was simply part of everyday life back then too.

Before focusing fully on pest control, I also ran a restaurant, so I understand just how important hygiene, discretion and quick action can be when there’s a pest problem. Alongside pest control, I also ran a property maintenance service for several years. In the end, juggling both became a bit much, so I decided to concentrate solely on pest control. That experience hasn’t gone to waste though — it gave me the practical skills and knowledge I now use renovating my own home.

Pest control is a much more complex industry than many people realise. It’s not just about dealing with pests — it involves ongoing training, exams, and keeping up with constantly changing legislation. No matter how long you’ve been in the trade, there’s always something new to learn, and staying up to date is a vital part of doing the job properly and responsibly.

I’m known for being friendly, honest and thorough, and I treat every home with care and respect.

When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, listening to audiobooks, renovating my house, spending time with family — and planning future travels.

And then there’s Ollie, my dog and best friend, who is probably more known locally than I am! He has quite the fan club with customers and takes his “supervising” duties very seriously.

In the winter months, Ollie comes with us on rodent jobs — and he’s brilliant at it. His sharp nose can pinpoint activity faster than any equipment, and he’s even helped catch the occasional trapped rodent in a customer’s bedroom.

Ollie isn’t just helpful; he’s a reassuring little presence for customers and a loyal companion on the road. Whether he’s working or curled up in the van between visits, he’s an essential part of the team.
